Privacy Policy

OctiSearch Ltd (“OctiSearch”, “we”, “us”) is a search growth consultancy registered in England and Wales, company number 09384721, VAT GB 341 8827 04. This policy explains what personal data we collect through octisearch.com, why, and what rights you have over it.

Contact and diagnostic requests. When you submit the form on our Contact page we collect your name, work email, company, approximate annual revenue and whatever you tell us about your situation.

Usage data. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically logs standard request metadata — IP address, browser type, pages visited and timestamps — for security and performance monitoring.

We use contact submissions to respond to your enquiry and, if you engage us, to deliver the work. We do not sell personal data, and we do not run the submission through a marketing nurture sequence. Usage data is used only to keep the site secure and working.

We use a small number of processors to run this site and our practice: Cloudflare (hosting and security), and Sanity (content management). Each processes data under its own data processing terms and only on our instructions. We do not share your enquiry details with any other third party without your consent, except where required by law.

Enquiries that don’t turn into an engagement are kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up, then deleted. Client data is retained for the duration of the engagement plus any period required by UK tax and accounting law.

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you, and you can object to how we use it. Email hello@octisearch.com and we’ll respond within one month. If you’re not satisfied with our response you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
